Any qualified doctor who is interested in Robotic Surgery duly proposed, seconded and passed in a Council meeting shall become an ordinary member. Ordinary membership lasts for a year and annual renewal is required.

Any person (e.g. nurse) proposed, seconded and passed in a Council meeting shall become an associate member. Such members shall enjoy all the privileges of the Society except the power of voting and holding office. Associate membership lasts for a year and annual renewal is required.

Any doctor or nurse who is qualified to become an ordinary member/ associate member and pays his subscription shall become a life member.

This membership conferred under exceptional circumstances by the Society as a sign of respect and appreciation to a leader in Robotic Surgery who has made significant contributions to the Society. This person shall be proposed and seconded by two Ordinary Members of the Society and the proposal shall be passed in a Council meeting and subsequently endorsed in the minutes of the Annual General Meeting. Honorary membership shall be for life.
